Prostar is the small business phone system with big business features. Every 816 model comes with a built-in speakerphone, eight line keys, and sixteen Speed-Dial/Direct Station Selection buttons, and fixed and programmable function buttons. Other features include:

• Standard Telephone Connections Connect your standard telephone, facsimile, modem, and credit card machines to the Prostar system through 2 standard set-aside extensions (expandable to 10 extensions).

• Direct Inward System Access Call in from any tone dialing telephone and use your office line to make outgoing calls, or bypass the attendant and dial extensions directly. A security code restricts unauthorized callers.

• RS 232 Serial Interfaces The Prostar 816 Plus provides two serial ports to allow the system to be programmed remotely with a modem as well as the ability to print a copy of your system data and outgoing calls. An optional call accounting system can be connected for sophisticated analysis and costing.

• Comprehensive Toll Restriction Prostar offers an extensive toll restriction plan to stop unauthorized telephone calls, while maintaining the flexibility to allow access to new local area codes and prefixes.

• StarmaiL StarmaiL is Samsung's proprietary voice mail system integrated to work seamlessly with Samsung keysets . An automatic setup program instantly provides access to a full range of features such as call forwarding to a mailbox, one-touch message retrieval and group message notification.
