Cadence Voice and Fax Mail

Cadence works with DCS systems by adding voice and fax mail directly into the telephone system. Packaged as an add-on card, Cadence is compatible with the DCS, the DCS 50si and the DCS 400si phone systems. The combination of DCS and Cadence offers a complete communications solution for every business.

Total Voice Control

Cadence can be configured to handle phone calls automatically or as a backup for your operator. Caller ID and intelligent call routing provide callers faster connections to the phone of voice mail/fax lines they want to reach.

When handling calls automatically, Cadence greets callers with a prerecorded welcome message, then provides directions to:

• Enter a known extension number.
• Access the company name directory.
• Select from a single digit entry.
• Select a fax on demand menu.
• Transfer to the operator.

Add their integrated eight-port auto attendant card, which allows up to 12 different announcements, and you have everything you need to present the right image for your law, accounting or engineering firm.

Voice/Fax Mail

Cadence Voice Mail allows callers to leave voice and fax messages. If a phone extension is not answered after a designated number of rings, a caller can be routed to that extension's mailbox to leave a message or private fax.

Date and Time Stamp

Cadence identifies on the telephone's LCD, the source, date and time voice and fax messages are received before they start playing. This helps users determine if they need to listen to such messages.

Call Record

Any mailbox in the Cadence voice mail system can be programmed to record conversations. This feature can be turned on an off during a conversation.

Answer Machine Emulation

Cadence gives mailbox owners the ability to monitor callers leaving messages in their mailbox. This function gives users the ability to screen their incoming calls.

Flexibility

Cadence offers menu-driven, interactive screens which allow you to easily personalize your mailbox. Options such as by changing your greeting or activating pager notification are only two of many features you control.

Caller ID Callback

When listening to a message, the mailbox owner can return the call with the touch of a button, whether it is a co-worker or an outside call.

Total Fax Control

Not only can you store faxes in voice mail until you are ready to print them, but you can redirect faxes to any fax machine, anywhere in the world. You can also copy faxes to other Cadence users.
